A few weeks ago, a customer got me hip to a movie I never heard of before, Black Devil Doll From Hell. Take a look at a review HERE. It sounds like it's a crowning achievement in crackpot cinema. Has anybody seen it? Can anyone burn me a copy? I can trade for a copy. I NEED this black devil doll in my life.


I bought a Nintendo DS last week just so I can play Animal Crossing. In less than one week, I've already expanded my house twice and Nook has expanded his store twice. If you know what that means, then I think you can deduce that I pretty much live the life of a slacker with no ambition and few adult responsibilities. Rock on!


My house that's for sale has been on the market over a year. I've changed realtors, dropped the price 3 times, and added that I'm willing to pay the buyer's closing costs. Apparently, trying to sell a modest, older house in NE Ohio right now is like trying to sell a turd. At least the local meth heads have not broken into it and and stolen the copper piping(yet!) Hey, I understand the meth heads have to make a living too, but I need kinda need those pipes.


Also, the country stylings of The Nez are in constant rotation.

i think you can get a bootleg of black devil doll from fiveminutestolive.com or is it 5minutestolive.com?

i love nintendo ds! i must finish a game a week! i love all the mario games and i'm currently playing Rune Factory: A Fantasy Harvest Moon...have you ever played the Harvest Moon games? I think it's a lot like Animal Crossing...you have a farm and grow crops and sell them and try to enlarge your house and get a girlfriend, etc. It's a lot of fun. Rune Factory takes it one step further and adds an RPG element to it where you can go into dungeons and fight monsters.

Is Animal Crossing worth getting? I've really been considering it. I don't have wi fi so I don't know if the game is any fun if you aren't hooked into a wireless community...does that make sense?

What's your fav Mario related game for the DS? I have New Super Mario Bros., but have not touched it yet because I'm too busy with the AC. I've never played any of the Harvest Moons, but now you have piqued my interest because it does sound a lot like AC. AC is in real time. For example, there's certain things you can only do on Saturdays. On Halloween, there will be halloween events. It knows when my birthday is, so I reckon something will happen that day. So basically, you NEED to check the game everyday, ha! Is HM like that? As for the wi-fi, I already want one. Right now I'm doing OK just maintaining my town, but I already have the itch to go visit other people's towns and take things from theirs that my town does not have. I think the wi-fi is necessary to really enjoy this game...

I love New Super Mario Bros., it's fun but pretty hard. I also have Super Mario 64 which is a lot of fun, too, and equally difficult. I also have the Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time game which is AMAZING. It's more of an RPG, like Legend of Zelda (which has a new game coming to DS next month and I can't wait!).

I love the idea of real time in Animal Crossing! Wow. However, is getting wi-fi super difficult, I wonder? I mean, what if NO ONE is playing Animal Crossing at the same time YOU are? I never understood that.

Harvest Moon doesn't work in real time, unfortunetly. The days just fly by and you spend most of it WATERING YOUR CROPS! It takes me like 3 hours to water all my crops. It's kind of boring, but yet, I find myself picking it up and playing it all the time.

I'm guessing the Wi-fi isn't hard to set up. On LJ alone there's a few AC communities:

People post their codes and when their gates are open, all day, everyday. Plus, since you're a big DS user, I bet the Wi-fi would enhance the other games you have. Annnd, if you dig mundane tasks like watering crops, AC is totally up your alley! Get it Eric!!!!!!!:)

Mike Nesmith was my first childhood crush and still one of my favorite songwriters, not to mention one of the first subjects that my boyfriend and I bonded over. Oh, Nes. Loveyamuchly.

Animal Crossing on the Nintendo GameCube is another one of my favorite addictions. The aforementioned boy and I have been known to lose days in the game.

I love playing it at work. It's the kind of game that doesn't require your full attention every second and it never stresses me out. If I have to wait on customer, I can just set the game down, no need to "pause" it.

I have black devil doll on vhs but you definatley don't want it
It's the crappiest thing ever made.The yuckiest sex scenes too on top of everything else.
