Where are the lilacs?
Here's two female versions of "Tar & Cement", originally by Italian singer-songwriter-actor-all around cool guy, Adriano Celentano. Does anybody have his version they could share? And speaking of Italian singers, was it somebody on LiveJournal who posted a Rita Pavone file this past June or July? I downloaded it, totally forgot about it, and I just realized I needed a password to open the file. Anybody?
And YAY for LJ buddies Linnea [info]zetadonic_twist and Evan [info]cycloplegia! They got engaged recently, which isn't a surprise, but it's still awesome.

A visually pleasing video for Hardy's "La Maison Ou J'ai Grandi"

Dig the...biker girls(!?) in this Hardy video for "La Maison Ou J'ai Grandi."

Adriano Celentano performs his version, "Il ragazzo della via Gluck."

You're welcome! It's from a 2 disc Hardy set I bought in London last year. I just got around to checking it out this week. Me = Lazy.

thanks so much!!!

and, there's utilities that can crack a rar/zip file's password. you've gust got to let them run a while, but they'll do it.

search for "rar password recovery" (or whatever type of archive it is), and you'll get a ton of utilities.

You're welcome! I have not been commenting much on here, but I couldn't let this go unnoticed. After all, I think you're one on my oldest LJ friends.
I doubt I'll try to crack this thing. It's not *too* important and I don't like messing with downloads/programs that I know nothing about. Thanks though!

Thanks for sharing all this. So many goodies!

I need to get myself some Adriano Celentano. I want the Spook Lights to cover his song "Furore" from "The Girl Who Knew Too Much."

I have a handful of stuff by him, but not "Furore." I posted "24000 Baci" a while back, I think the link is still good:

LOVE that song. And I loved the "dumpter chic" pictures of you and Rob that he posted on Flickr.

Thanks for the link on that entry. Such an unselfish and fantastic one you are, for sharing all your amazing finds.

"Furore" is hard to get. I know I've seen it out there but for now I'm okay with just playing the movie trailer.

I have find this jourlnal just today, so, you see, i'm not quite sure what to do. Any way here's Furore.

By the way I have a lot (or may be even more) of Celentano songs. In Russia he always was (and still is) an Italian singer #1. So if you need some other songs...

Thanks again! This version of Il Ragazzo does not sound like the original. It most be a re-recorded version then?

How come? It's the original. It's the version of 1966.

Is it perhaps Rita Pavone's "Il Ghe ghe ghe", that song is fantastic, I can send it to you if you want to. I don't know how exactly, maybe through msn?
